Johannes Abeling is a Dutch freelance photographer based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Apart from his daily work for a wide variety of magazines, newspapers, companies and organisations, he works on a long term project called Disputed Waters together with colleague photographers and journalists.

In recent years several of his photo series won prizes
at the 'Zilveren Camera' photojournalism awards.

His work is represented by Hollandse Hoogte.
